VPN SETUP FOR LONDON SME'S - overview

VPN London is our range of VPN setup packages for London based SME's. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and literally creates a secure encrypted data link tunnel between any two points over any connection.

Because virtual private networks are safe and secure SME's can adopt A VPN setup to connect remote offices over the internet. This saves a considerable amount of money when compared to implementing a dedicated connection between sites. Staff at remote sites will be able to access data which is held on servers in central offices as if they were connected directly to the network.

Remote access VPN over the internet is now not only feasible - it's safe! - thanks to VPN security.

Another obvious use of a VPN setup is for remote & home working. VPN security allows staff to work from home while providing them with the same access to data as if they were in the office. This could reduce the number of wasted sick and off days in your organization.

Staff often take a day off in order to be present at home for the gas man, furniture deliveries, or the BT engineer. With VPN and remote access the member of staff can work at home, thus being active when ordinarily they would be inactive. There are many more benefits to VPN.

Some of the Benefits of VPN SECURITY include:

  • Your staff can connect to your internal network and have access to files in exactly the same way they would as if they were in the office.
  • With VPN security, your users can have secure access to their email and business documents irrespective of where in the world they are. All they need is an internet connection
  • VPN security is of the very highest current technology. Hackers cannot snoop on the data while it is transmitted and they cannot access your VPN protected network. Several layers of security are used to establish VPN security and encryption. Your users don't even have to remember any passwords or login ID's.
  • There is no need for an expensive ISDN or leased line when connecting offices. A relatively cheap ADSL broadband installation is all that's needed at each end along with the VPN router.
  • Save on the cost of couriers or postage between offices. Virtual private networks effectively reduce the amount of paperwork which has to be moved between sites manually.
  • Home working can save on staff travel time. More and more organizations now allow their staff to work from home where their roles can be performed just as efficiently from home as it can be in the office. A VPN setup can considerably improve working day capacity as home workers do not have to waste up to 2 - 3 hours traveling to and from the office.
